Starter Good morning children. I’m very glad to see you. How are you today? I think everything is OK. Are you ready to start our lesson? (Children greet the teacher). When you come into the class take any card you want and sit down.

At first look at your card and tell me your expression. I would like you to guess the theme of our lesson today. What is the theme of our lesson? Now you now -we are going to speak about “Daily routine”. Thanks a lot guys. I want to ask you what is the aim of our lesson? You are right we will learn all words on the theme daily routine in different form of activity. Very good! I have some questions for you. 1. Do you know Harry Potter? 2. Have you ever seen the film “Harry Potter”? Look at the blackboard please. Today we are going to visit Hogwarts. It is school of Witchcraft and Wizard. We can travel there and see everything our own eyes but we need timetable. You can see it on your desk. There is a list of assessment. Here we have a plan of our lesson. Write your personal information. During the lesson, if you do activity successfully, you will color each day with different colours. If you do not do the task stay the day will be without colour (empty).
Main Part
Vocabulary pre-teaching (I, P,G)
Teacher introduces new words, using strategy “Echoing” and together, in a choral response, learners will pronounce all words. Teacher asks students to make word expressions or sentences with these words.
Get up, have a shower, get dressed, have breakfast, clean teeth, go to school, have lunch, go home, do homework, have dinner, go to bed.
“Magic Hat” Harry sent you the magic hat “Hobby and Daily routine”. Tell me the words in chain, adding your word. Now let’s play P1: to take a bath P2: to take a bath, to dry hair P3: to take a bath, to dry hair, to eat breakfast… Success Criteria All expressions without mistakes — colour Monday! Good job!
Work in 3 groups: Morning, Afternoon, Evening! (GW) Look at the board and choose word combinations which suit to your team. You have 2 min. You will assess each other. If they have no mistakes clap 3 times. If you notice mistakes, correct them. If you do this task successfully take a pencil and colour Tuesday.

LISTENIG TASK ( IW) Thank you for this activity. Now you are going to watch the video of Harry Potter’s friend. She wants to tell you about her daily routine. While watching the video cross the words in the table which will be in this video. Let’s watch the video. Daily Routine My name is Ester. I wake up at half past six. I go to bathroom, wash my face, brush my teeth and get dressed. I do my morning exercises. I get breakfast at seven-thirty. For breakfast, I usually have eggs, bread and butter, tea. Then, I go to school. I like to study at school. I come back home, have dinner. Then I begin to clean the house, do my homework for the next day. Then I watch a film on TV, read book and go to bed. Self-assessment: students take the papers and check the answers. Success Criteria If there are 1-2 mistakes -achieved (|). Take a pencil and colour Wednesday. 3 and more – (¯) working forward (WF) Play ‘BINGO’ game. Let’s recognise “Who is the fastest” student in the class. First three sts wil get red stars, others green. Success Criteria Take a pencil and colour Thursday. Writing (I W). And the last step of visiting the school is “Achieving our lesson”. Everybody has the task in the laptop. You have 6 questions. Match phrase with appropriate picture and make up sentences. Differentiation: High-performing students are expected to write sentences (about 4-5 sentences). Students with lower level of the language abilities write 3-4sentenses respectively. Low-performing students write some 1-2 sentences according to the topic. Success Criteria If there are 4-5 right words-achieved (A). Take a pencil and colour Friday. 2-3 working forward (WF). The day will be without colour.
